My large Cherry Bakewell Sandwich is a favourite – and it looks awesome too. Light, moist, dairy free sponge, delicately but definitely almondy, and liberally sprinkled with toasted sliced almonds on top. Oozing with cherry jam for the perfect Bakewell Tart alternative.
No gluten? No problem: all my cakes are available in a gluten free option and are just as moist and tasty.
Please note that these larger cakes are too big for the letterbox so someone must be home to take delivery.

I try to be as ethical as possible in life and baking & there’s more info on my ethics page. My packaging is recycled & recyclable and, like the ingredients, mostly made in Britain. Even the cello wraps can be composted with food waste. The only animal product used are my friend Elaine’s very free range eggs from her beloved rescued chickens fed on an organic diet.
These cakes have a 4 day freshness window so it aren’t posted over the weekend. Order by 10am Mon-Thurs & it will almost always be dispatched that day for delivery next day/day after. Later Thurs, Fri & wkend orders will be posted Mondays for delivery Tues/Wed. Most of my other products are longer life and can also be posted on a Friday for delivery Sat/Mon.
I post Royal Mail First Class: usually 1 day/occasionally 2 day delivery. Specified delivery date? I’ll do my best for arrival on or the nearest possible date before. Use the Order Notes box at the checkout for delivery date and messages. Alternatively email me (Lou) with your info & order number email@example.com.
If you wish to send multiple bake boxes for your whole year’s birthday list, groups/or thank yous, it’s easy! Just place one order with the number you require using your billing address as the shipping address and email firstname.lastname@example.org a list of your recipient’s postal details/ dates/ your personal message/s etc.
Baked fresh by me without preservatives, so store covered out of the sun & eat sponges within 4 days of dispatch. Can also be perfectly frozen in the packaging for a future treat.
